Troubleshooting
Fixes for the most common setup and runtime issues.
Most problems fall into a handful of buckets. Work through the relevant one below.
The agent doesn't reply
- Confirm the agent is active in the editor.
- Check the channel is connected and shows a green status.
- Send a test message in the sandbox first — if that works, the issue is on the channel side.
A document is stuck on "processing"
- Large PDFs can take a few minutes — give it time.
- If it shows failed, the file may be a scanned image with no extractable text. Re-export it as a text-based PDF and re-upload.
- Very large files are split internally; if one part fails, remove and re-upload.
Answers are wrong or too generic
- Make sure the relevant document reached ready status.
- Add the missing facts as a focused document rather than a giant catch-all file.
- Tighten the system prompt in the editor to tell the agent what to prioritise.
A channel won't connect
- Re-check the token or credentials you pasted — a trailing space is enough to break it.
- For Telegram, confirm the bot token is valid and the bot isn't connected elsewhere.
Billing or limits
- Free plans have usage limits; if replies stop, check your plan in the dashboard.
